Introducing.... Rebecca Farnsworth, Student Intern
Every person experiences their trials differently, and you are the expert in your situation. No single therapy method fits all people. I come to the table with many different therapy methods and techniques. By working together, we can work through whatever trials you may be facing at this time.
Every person experiences their trials differently because. You are the expert in your situation. I do not believe that one therapy method fits all people. Thus, I come to the table with many different therapy
methods and techniques. By working together, we can work through whatever trials you may be facing
at this time.
Methods and theories that resonate with me include:
· Play Therapy
· Narrative Therapy
· Solution Focused Therapy
· Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
· Person Centered Therapy
· Neuro Counseling
· Reality Therapy/Choice Theory
· Family Systems Theory
· Holistic Theory
Favorite Populations to Work With
· Single Parents
· People dealing with Abuse and Trauma
· People with Eating Disorders
· People in Low Socioeconomic Issues
· People struggling with TBI
I am a member of the Association of Play Therapy (APT) and the American Counseling Association (ACA). In 2017, I received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in Family Consumer and Human Development (FCHD). I am finishing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling while also working towards my play therapy license. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my children, playing and roughhousing with my dog, spending time in nature, reading, crafts, working on family history, creating new things, and playing with children.
I look forward to meeting you and working together to help you through whatever trials you are currently facing.
